The Lucky Few Arrows made their way into the Down syndrome community in 2017 when Heather Avis, the founder and creator of the phrase “The Lucky Few” convinced a room full of moms raising kids with Down syndrome to get matching tattoos. While brainstorming a design for the tattoo Mica May shared a dream she had about three arrows and The Lucky Few Arrows were born. The Lucky Few Arrows spread like wildfire and were quickly embraced by the greater global Down syndrome community as a sign to represent Down syndrome. Today, the one and only Barbie with Down syndrome made her way into the world wearing the Three Arrows on her necklace! In honor of this monumental representation The Lucky Few is releasing our “Barbie Pink” arrow shirt.
